This is body wash in a 100% plastic-free, compostable refill. Our innovative technology eradicates the need for single-use plastic from your bathroom.

Unlike other plant-based bottles our refill does not use a plastic liner. It is made completely of plants and will break down in your compost heap.

We estimate that one 350ml refill will last a person roughly 1 month, but everyone showers differently.

Yes, we are proud to say all our products are vegan & cruelty-free and we absolutely never test our products or ingredients on animals.

The refill and the refill lid is made from around 70% bamboo fibre and 30% plant starch sourced from agricultural waste. This unique combination of ingredients and how they are moulded together is what makes the refill plastic free and able to hold liquids. We’ve rigorously tested the refills in transit and with our wonderful Wild team, so you can expect the refills to be durable as well as sustainable!

Our body wash is made from gentle, natural ingredients making it suitable for all skin types.

💦Water (Aqua) - It’s a solvent meaning it dissolves the other ingredients so they can mix together.

🥥 Cocamidopropyl Betaine - This comes from the fatty acids of coconut oil and is great at gently washing the skin and creating a glorious lather.

🧲 Sarkosyl (Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate) - Acts like a magnet both to help oil based and water based ingredients blend together and pull sebum and dirt from the skin.

🍊 Citric Acid - A naturally occurring acid from citrus fruit that is used as a preservative.

🍄 Benzoate of Soda (Sodium Benzoate) - Another preservative that stops the growth of fungi, yeasts and bacteria.

🐜 Potassium Sorbate - A preservative to stop the growth of microorganisms in your body wash

💪 Sodium Gluconate - Prevents the discolouration of the body wash over time.

🧂 Salt (Sodium Chloride) - Makes the body wash the perfect thickness for lathering over your skin.

🛀 Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride - A skin conditioner to keep your skin smooth and soft.

The case is made from aluminium, and the pump is made from 50% post consumer recycled plastic, and 50% virgin plastic. Recycled plastic can be quite brittle, so we have not made the whole pump from this to boost the durability (i.e. mixing in some virgin plastic with the recycled plastic helps keep that pump tough and less likely to break with use/wear and tear).

The aluminium case is anodised to protect it from corrosion and all the elements that your shower throws at it! This will not rust in your shower.

Because the refill is made from compostable materials, once you have finished using it you can put it in your compost heap (make sure to rinse it and then cut it into pieces to make it biodegrade quicker). By composting the bamboo refill, you contribute to enriching the soil and supporting the growth of new plants!

If you don’t have a compost heap, put your refill in the general waste where it will break down naturally in landfill in less than two years without causing any harm to the environment. That’s faster than a banana peel!

Please do not put your refill in the recycling bin as our current recycling system is not set up to deal with novel materials like this.
