The Motivation

We envision a future where we can remove plastic packaging from our daily bathroom routines. This is by no means an easy challenge, but our Wild deodorant represents the first significant move of many when it comes to the future of personal care, and eradicating excessive single-use plastic from the bathroom routine.

How did we get here?

We’ve been working closely with you, our customers, to derive a unique deodorant recipe made from scratch. To ensure the investments made in Wild were done justice, we went through all of the customer feedback we collected with a fine-toothed comb. As a result, this product has gone through 25 iterations. When our product launches to the public this year, we will continue to honour your feedback, so please do stay in touch so we can continue to hone and improve the Wild experience.

The BIG Launch

In March 2020, we will launch our new Wild deodorant and its sustainable packaging via We Are Wild.

Our new website platform will allow you to personalise your subscription. You will be able to tailor and change the Wild scents you receive in each delivery with ease. With a range of five fresh fragrances available, as chosen by you during our user polls, you will soon find one to for your pits.

Each deodorant refill will arrive in biodegradable cardboard and our reusable deodorant cases are made from durable aluminium and PCR plastic that’s designed to last. Once you have your case, you can choose to receive our sustainable refills to go inside at a frequency that suits you.

Our new deodorant launching this spring will replace our existing Wild product, which will be discontinued this month.

The Future

Wild strives for a future redesigned, whereby unnecessary single-use plastic is completely removed from our daily bathroom routines. To reflect this long-term goal of ours, our brand will evolve over time to encompass a range of sustainable bathroom products that reflect our ethos.

Ambitious, perhaps. But our Wild deodorant is a significant step towards this goal and it has been your support of our Kickstarter campaign that has led this movement. We promised to invest your money in creating truly sustainable deodorant packaging, and we’re thrilled to be on the verge of delivering this exciting end product to you.
